The accommodation at the Moulin de Malecoste will suit different groups of guests. The old barn adjacent to the main house has been sympathetically restored into 2 apartments with fully equipped kitchens dining and living areas. This ideal setting is suitable for couples on a romantic break or for a large group of family and friends on a communal holiday.

Bleu is a charming two story apartment with a living room and kitchenette on the ground floor with large French doors leading to a courtyard area outside. There is a beautifully appointed double bedroom with large windows overlooking the courtyard giving light and air to the room. there is a newly renovated en-suite shower on the second floor.

Blanc

Blanc is a modern spacious apartment with a huge open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, an old stone fireplace and french doors that lead onto two Juliette Balconies. There are two bathrooms, a Queen-size bedroom and a mezzanine that can be used as a study, writer’s garret or a sleeping area for an infant or child. Blanc has the privacy of its own deck which overlooks the pond.

Rouge

Rouge is a three-story apartment perfect for larger groups. It is stylish, spacious and accommodates four people in two very comfortable large bedrooms, each on their own floor. There is a full kitchen, sitting room, dining area and cloak room with shower on the ground floor with glass doors opening out into the garden and courtyard area where one can dine alfresco.

About your Hosts

Heather & Rad are South Africans who followed a dream to own a property in France., which was realized in 2001 when they found the beautiful 17th Century Mill, “Moulin de Malecoste”. They both love everything about France and travel, always off on another adventure in different parts of the world. The Moulin is a passion for them and an ongoing project, they never get tired of improving, re decorating, changing the garden always with a lot of attention to detail making it a magical place to visit.
